While electric vehicles (EVs) have become popular as the price of gasoline has soared, hybrid vehicles combine the best of both worlds by utilizing both electric and gasoline power sources.

Hybrid technology allows for increased fuel efficiency, while still providing the power and range that drivers expect from a gas-powered vehicle. In contrast, EVs rely completely on electricity to power them so the range is lower for getting around Ortega, Orange Park and greater Jacksonville.

Not only are hybrid vehicles ECO friendly, but they also offer convenience that EVs cannot match. With a hybrid vehicle, drivers have the option to switch between electric and gasoline power, giving them the flexibility to drive long distances without worrying about range anxiety.
