Toyota 4Runner
Overview 2024 4Runner
Even though the current version of Toyota 4Runner has only been on the road since 2009, drivers still find the car to be highly desirable. This demonstrates that its body-on-frame construction, enormous load capacity, and bold style are still in high demand. Despite having a truck frame rather than an SUV, it makes up for that with overlanding-ready technology, including TRD versions’ all-terrain tires, an improved suspension system, and a locking rear differential.
One new color is available for 2024, including the interesting Underground and the TRD Pro exclusive Terra. New for 2024, every new Toyota 4Runner has a blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert standard.
2024 4Runner Performance
For the 2024 Toyota 4Runner, there is only one engine. It has a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine that produces 278 pound-feet of torque and 270 horsepower. With a 5,000-pound tow rating for both 4×2 and 4×4 variants and a built-in integrated tow hitch receiver as standard, the 4Runner is capable of towing a small boat. A payload rating of 1,700 pounds for 4×2 models and 1,625 pounds for 4×4 versions is another feature of the 4Runner. The powerhouse has rear-wheel drive as standard, but if you need extra traction for off-road driving, opting for the optional all-wheel drive is available.
Owners get free maintenance for two years to keep their 4Runner in peak condition. You won’t find that addition on the Jeep Wrangler or Ford Bronco.

Navigating through Jacksonville roads and off-roading is a pleasure with the comforts of the new 4Runner. Stay connected on the road with essential apps, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto on the 8.00-inch infotainment display. Subscription based Wi-Fi hotspots and Sirius Radio are available.
